Enhance your immunity with ‘giloy kadha’ during the second Covid-19 wave

‘Giloy Kadha’ has recently become famous for its properties to increase immunity, which helps you avoid coronavirus. Prevention is better than cure! At some point in life, we all found this saying and it helped us to realize what it is important to grow deep immunity. Everybody has tested various tips and tricks to improve their immune response since the introduction of coronavirus.

Many people have returned to Ayurveda and turned Kadha into an integral part of their everyday life. It is now popular in the world for its wonderful health benefits, especially for increasing immunity, and has been consumed in India since ancient times. It is a mostly herbal and spicy combination. It can actually be made to address particular health problems using different ingredients. Giloy is one herb you certainly can use to cook kadha! It is a miracle plant, primarily consumed for the construction of the body’s system of natural defense.

Here’s why Giloy Kadha is perfect to increase immunity:

Giloy is classified scientifically as a cordifolia of the Tinospora and its name in Sanskrit is amrita. The herb has medicinal features. Not only does immunity increase, but anti-toxic, antipyretic, and antioxidant properties also increase. Giloy will truly help the body cure and avoid viral infections. It is also called the herb of immortality. It will help you cope with health problems like cold, cough, joint pain, acidity, skin allergies, and diabetes daily.

The recipe for giloy kadha to make at home:-

Ingredients: Water 2 cups,2 little giloy branches, 2 sticks of cinnamon, with 4-5 tulsi leaves, 8-10 mint leaves,1⁄2 tbsp turmeric, 1 tbsp black pepper powder, Ginger of 1-inch, 2 tbsp honey.

Begin by peeling the giloy plant and blending it to produce a powder. In a pan, get water to a boil. Mix with turmeric and black pepper. Allow the mixture to boil for a minute over medium heat. Then, apply the giloy powder, cinnamon sticks, and grated ginger. Allow the mixture to simmer again, but this time cover the pan with a lid. To the mixture, add tulsi leaves, mint leaves, and honey. Allow the mixture to come to a boil. After that, set it aside to cool. Drink the mixture after it has been sieved.

We added cinnamon to this kadha because it has antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties, as well as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Furthermore, ginger is an excellent addition because it incorporates gingerol, which has potent healing qualities that can be used to cure a variety of health problems. This antioxidant-rich giloy kadha is the perfect immune booster!
