The First Episode of ‘Agnisikha’ had been screened in the presence of Sourya Bhattacharya, Aratrika Maity, Chandrayee Ghosh, and Sagnik along with other cast and crew.
Music Director – Samidh Mukherjee, Mounting Director- Anshuman Pratyush, Sandip Choudhury working on the creative. The Producers are Firdausul Hasan and Probal Haldar.
The shooting for ‘Agnishikha’ started at Purulia. Shikha, who is a tribal girl with big dreams had always stood first in her district and aspires to get a government job. She ends up in a marriage with Vikram, the son of a renowned businessman.
He tricks the villagers on the day of the inauguration and says he’s going to build a hospital for them. In the light of welcoming Vikram on the day of the event with a garland, Vikram exchanges the garland with Shikha out of courtesy which creates chaos among the villagers as they take it as a marriage. Hereby bringing us to the conclusion if their marriage would be accepted or not.
Anshuman Pratyush came back with a mega serial after five years and claims the plot made him so curious that he decided to go forward with the project. Aratrika Maity says “It’s a new challenge for me. I have acted in a few roles before, as a tribal heroine it’s my first character”. She even says she got used to this dialect after practicing it at home with her parents. Her parents being present at the screening were super proud of their daughter making it big in her life. Sourya Bhattacharya claims to be cherishing every moment of this big opportunity as the new pair of the industry.
