Speciality Restaurants Ltd celebrates 25 glorious years

Kolkata, March 15, 2018: Specialty Restaurants Limited, one of the largest chains of fine dining and casual dining restaurants in the country, celebrated their 25 glorious years in the industry with Tollywood Superstar Dev and Mr. Anjan Chatterjee, Founder & Managing Director of Speciality Restaurants Ltd. at their Mainland China, Gurusaday Road outlet today. The silver jubilee celebration observed the successful journey of the Group since its inception and highlighted its future plans and developments.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Anjan Chatterjee, Founder & Managing Director of Speciality Restaurants Ltd. said, We are looking at replicating Mainland China – Asia Kitchen, the Asian food that we dominate, across India. We also have recently opened POH – Progressive Oriental House in Mumbai and it is extremely successful. Dariole, our confectionery brand, opened recently has been very promising and we plan to open around 11 stores in the future.”

He further added,I feel very humbled for the fact that you have allowed us to prosper and been with us all through and the fact that we feel special when you feel special.

Speciality Restaurants started it culinary journey with Only Fish, inculcating the nostalgic flavors of Calcutta, in the fast lanes of Mumbai in the year 1992. From then to now, it is going on to become one of the most loved and largest chains of fine dining and casual dining restaurants in India. It is also the only restaurant chain which is IPO certified.

With leading brands like Cafe Mezzuna, Flame & Grill, Haka, Hoppipola, Machaan, Mainland China, Mainland China Asia Kitchen,Mobifeast, Oh! Calcutta, Sigree Global Grill, Sweet Bengal  under it’s wing, it continues to deliver quality service with delectable food.

 The company focuses on providing the guests an affordable fine dining experience with quality food and service in a modern ambience. The company’s restaurants consist of different restaurant concepts and are located across India, particularly in the western region.
