Kolkata : VLCC, an Indian multinational and a premier beauty and wellness brand, hosted a path-breaking, first-of-its-kind of event called the ‘VLCC Transformation Show 2017’. The gala event showcased 11 real life successful and inspiring stories of its clients who had partnered with VLCC and transformed themselves to be healthier and more confident. The transformed clients walked the ramp with much confidence. Mr. Sourav Ganguly, former Indian cricketer and captain of the Indian Cricket Team was a ‘Special Guest’ at the event. The panel of judges included renowned personalities from various walks of life namely, Bollywood actress, Ms. Vaani Kapoor; renowned Indian playback singer, Ms. Usha Uthup; famous Manipuri dancer, Ms. Priti Patel; Dr Ronen Roy, a leading Orthopedic surgeon & HOD, Fortis Hospital; and Ms. Namrata Sureka, President of Ladies Study Group, and Founder Trustee of ‘EkTara’.
VLCC also unveiled six bridal looks on the sidelines of the event. The bridal looks included Bengali, Assamese, Muslim, Christian, Marwari and ‘Shakuntala’ inspired bride. The VLCC loyalists, who have been associated with the brand for a long time, also walked the ramp. The event was supported by well-known designers-Debarun Mukherjee, Rini Seal and Adi Mohini Mohan Kanjilal. The designers shared their beautifully crafted attires with detailing, cuts and embellishments. The grand event was attended by 50 participants across age groups, who shared their journey to wellness, including weight loss, grooming and better health.
