In a one of its kind effort Fortis Hospitals celebrated Swami Vivekananda’s Birthday (National Youth Day) by organizing a general health check-up camp at Vivekananda Basic Junior School.
Around 40 underprivileged children of the school were given warm clothes and food packets. The children also underwent a general health check up at the camp along with a health talk on good health hygiene. Committed towards providing healthcare for the socially marginalized and deprived sections of the society, Fortis Hospital, Anandapur has always undertaken initiatives driven by vision, philosophy and the need of the community, with health remaining the main focus.
Keeping in mind the unique effort, Samir Singh, Zonal Director East, Fortis Healthcare said, “Every child has the right to a happy and healthy life. We aim to bring a smile to these kids who are the faces of tomorrow. “
