The grand finale for the Eastern zone of the Miss India Beauty 2016 was held on 21st of February, 2016 at 21st Century Studio in Kolkata. There were a total of 20 finalists competing for the title. A total of four rounds were conducted, namely Swimwear, Ethnic, Western and Gown rounds following which there was also a questionnaire session based on which the top three finalists were chosen. Judges present were noted designer Abhishek Dutta and popular model Satarupa Pyne and Anandadin magazine’s photographer Baban Mukherjee . The winner for the title, Miss India Beauty 2016 Eastern India was Krishnamoni Hazarika from Guwahati. The 1st Runner Up was Upasana Maitra from Hooghly. The 2nd Runner Up was Payel Mondol from Kolkata.
