Tata Motors design head responsible for Nexon, Harrier resigns

-

Tata Motors has been in India for a long time, even though the vehicles we’re popular for their space and comfort. However, with the company’s new innovations and constant passion, the automaker made a permanent presence in the global market. In recent times we have experienced how the brand has again become popular among every class of economy. The primary reason for such is Tata’s philosophy of giving more and modern designs.

The man is responsible for all the operations and developments. Pratap Bose was the Vice-President, Global Design for Tata Motors. He is well known for his works in the automotive industry. As Bose was also one of the top five finalists for World Car Person of the Year 2021. During Bose’s new ‘IMPACT 2.0’ philosophy the design language present in cars like Tiago, Harrier, Nexon, Safari, etc gained many fans. As the design language of these vehicles was new and yet subtle but still it holds a sharp look. As these designs were receiving praise from all around the world.

While the internal statement by Tata Motors says, that Pratap Bose has decided to leave for better opportunities. Martin Uhlarik will be the new design head, he is working with Tata Motors TMETC in the UK since 2016. Now he will continue his operation from TMETC in the UK and will be leading the design teams based in Pune (India), Turin (Italy), and Coventry (UK). He will also report to Sailesh Chandra, President, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors.
