Some advantages of remote working

-

There are many advantages of remote working and these are not limited only to the employee or the employer. Some of the most important advantages are as follows:

1. Employer cost savings: They no longer intend to build and maintain large office spaces, often in the form of expensive urban real estate, in order to bring people together to work. But apart from purchasing and renting office space, the employer must also pay for office security, lighting, air conditioning, and a cafeteria, among other things.

2. Lower travel expenses: Most employers used to have another cost item for official travel. Many employers charged both local travel allowances and international travel expenses for their workers. These costs would be greatly reduced by WFH.

3. No need to worry about work permits or visas: Even multinational corporations are required to set up their offices within national boundaries. One of the most difficult tasks for global employers is obtaining the required work permits for their employees. Almost every country in the world has some kind of limit on who can work in their country and how many workers an employer can hire.

4. Minimal personal disruption: Employees who aspired to advance their careers were often required to travel between cities (and, in some cases, countries) as part of internal mobility or when moving to a new employer. This put them in a difficult position in their personal lives.

5. Maximum personal and family time: In addition to relocating to a new city for work, most workers had to commute to their workplaces on a regular basis. When people choose to work from home, they save time that can be spent with their families, friends, or themselves.
