In 2009 Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande featured in lead roles in Pavitra Rishta, a soap saga that was the last telecast on television on 25th October 2014. If an opinion poll is taken on the list of soap sagas that remain ever pleasant to watch and which remain always in the hearts of the audience, then Pavitra Rishta will definitely be named as the one which categorizes the trait. It is that famous show whereby performing, Ankita Lokhande and Late Sushant Singh Rajput rose to popularity and fame.
Last year June after the passing away of Late Sushant Singh Rajput, the news was circulated that famous soap opera director Ekta Kapoor was thinking of a comeback of the second season of Pavitra Rishta. And at present, it almost looks like Pavitra Rishta 2 will be back again.
Telechakkar’s latest report shows that pre-production for Pavitra Rishta is already on and this time too Ankita Lokhande will play the role of Archana. The report also states that the makers of the show are looking for a new Manav (previously played by late Sushant Singh Rajput) in the current season. Although people would be eagerly waiting for the new Manav it will be a great challenge for the makers also. This season 2 will be a tribute to Late Sushant Singh Rajput, as a mark of respect for his contribution to the real world.
