The 74th edition of British Academy Film Awards often called BAFTA or Bafta in short, took place, virtually in London’s Royal Albert Hall. The awards, the British counterpart of the Oscars, felicitate the best in both national and international cinema.
The award ceremony continued for over two nights on April 10 and 11. Eight of the 25 winners were revealed on April 10. Winners in the rest of the categories were unveiled on April 11. Nomadland, The Father, Promising Young Woman, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and so on made it big and took home maximum Bafta trophies.
