The festival of Goddess Kali Maa is celebrated in West Bengal along with Diwali. While there are different stories backing each festival, both the celebrations turn out to be the festival of lights and fireworks.
Every year, people visit famous Kali Temples like Dakshineshwar, Kalighat and Tarapith to worship the various forms of the Goddess who terminates all the evils and demons of the society, an image of feminine strength & power.
