Kumortuli is an area in northern Kolkata where potters reside and are the people behind the beautiful idols of Hindu Gods & Goddesses, including Maa Durga. Here are some photographs from Kumortuli by our staff photographer, showing the idols of Maa Durga getting the final touch-ups before being moved to the Pandals.
