Menstrual Cramps are a specific kind of pelvic pain a woman feels during menstruation. It is a feeling of discomfort which pretty much becomes impossible to endure at some point. The majority of women, around the world, go through this uncomfortable feeling.
The intensity of these cramps can range from mild to severe. Mild menstrual cramps may have symptoms like Aching in the areas of the lower side of the belly, a bloated feeling, loss of appetite, aching pain in the hips and lower back as well as irritability. Severe menstrual symptoms include troublesome bowel movements, Vomiting, Excess sweating, and dizziness. If one experiences severe or unusual menstrual cramps or cramping that lasts more than 2 or 3 days, one must see the doctor as soon as possible.
Whatever the cause, cramps can be treated, hence, it’s important to get checked. A change in lifestyle can help a lot with menstrual cramps in a long run. For example: Avoiding Tobacco and alcohol, Avoiding caffeinated drinks and food, Exercising regularly, Resting when needed. Medication can also help, painkillers especially created for this purpose. Heat can also provide a lot of relief, a warm shower, drinking warm water, and beverages. And of course! Chocolate for happy hormones!
