Bajaj Motors: It’s Holi hai for Pulsar lovers

-

Indian two-wheeler manufacturing giant Bajaj is all set to drop colour bombs. As the new 2021 Pulsar NS 160, NS 200 and RS 200 are launched with new paint schemes, it seems sensible for Bajaj to bring new shades in their line-ups. Pulsar is not only one of the most popular series but also the most used bike in the country. Due to the popularity of the bike, it is safe to say in every turn one can always notice more than one Pulsar.

What every Pulsar fan knows that Bajaj has decided to bring back the Pulsar 180 as it is the bike that can compete with Honda’s Hornet 2.0 as they represent the 180cc segment. So the new colour schemes can give Pulsar an upper hand over their competitor. So far there is no official announcement made by the manufacturer about the new paint schemes, however, new bikes are already being spotted in dealerships.

Hence it is safe to assume that there will be new Pulsars with new shades. The 2021 Pulsar 180 is powered by a 178.6cc engine that can churn 17ps of peak power and 14.52 Nm of peak torque due to its 5-speed gearbox. The suspension remains a telescopic fork in front and a 5-way adjustable gas-charged rear-shock. While both front and rear have disc brake the front has a 280mm disc while the rear has 230mm disc and single-channel ABS as standard.

Now about the new colour variants, there is a possibility of 4 new paint scheme options, each paint scheme has three different shades which give the bike a more sharp appearance. The three colour combinations include Black with Red and White shades, Red with White and Black shades, Blue with White shades and Black and lastly White with Red and Black shades.

The combination of these three colours in every bike gives them a new appeal to young riders. However the bike should have received new design updates, but it is reasonable to understand that if something is appreciated by the majority, there is no point in experimenting with new things, as it may fail. The current Bajaj Pulsar 180 is priced at ₹1.07lakh (ex-showroom) it is very likely that there will be a price-hike with new colour options, however, we can only wait until the official announcement.
