She is all set to release her singles Phirey Aaschhi a song dedicated to those who reside abroad, feel for their root, respect their root and celebrate their origin wherever they live.
Interestingly this song has an international connect Soma Das is from London where the rest members of the song are from India. Ace musician-composer-lyricist Joy Sarkar has composed the song and Saikat Kundu penned it’s lyrics, released on INRECO. Soma loves to deal with root musicians be it baul, tribal musicians , street musicians, traditional old band party group she loves to work with them. For that reason Phirey Aaschhi was released in presence of a group ofBahurupi from Bolpur. This was the first time ever that any music release witnessed performance of Bahurupis besides they released the song.
