Durga Puja is knocking at the door, pandals are on work in progress mode, Kumartuli is busy with it’s final touch up phase. The biggest festival of Bengal is all set to start within a week. The festive season is very much incomplete without music, dance.
The noted Odissi exponent Dona Ganguly hosted a special dance workshop on Durga at her dance institute Diksha Manjari, recently. The five days long workshop had two segments one for juniors ( Item- Namo Devi ), Seniors ( Item- Durga ). Dona Ganguly said, ” It was a dance workshop session specially planned for those who want to participate in various durga puja events where dance related to durga is required. It was initiated to make them prepare for this festive season.”
