Fantastic Beasts 2: A Call Back to Hogwarts

-

To all the Potterheads out there still waiting for letters from Hogwarts, “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” will be released on 16th November 2018. JK Rowling the mastermind behind the films also announced that, the Fantastic Beasts consists of 5 movies and we obviously can’t wait.

Before we start let me just say that these are assumptions after watching the trailer which might or might not match with the movie.

The trailer did give us goose bumps. The stars Jude Law and Johnny Depp, no matter what portrayed the best role of Dumbledore and Grindlewald. Dumbledore’s history and sexuality is expected to be explained. As far as the controversies go, Dumbledore is gay and his love affair with Grindlewald  is the most important thing people are waiting to see.  In the famous lines of Dumbledore to Newt he said, ”I can’t move against Grindlewald. It has to be you.” explains most of the controversies. Even though the Mirror of Erised showed the most desperate desires of Dumbledore and why he does not want to go after Grindlewald.

In one of the scenes, Dumbledore was teaching the Defence against the dark art classes, though he was a teacher of Transfiguration. Or maybe because Boggarts are the masters of transfiguration. The relation of Newt and Dumbledore was something we have seen before as it seems to be similar to that of Harry Potter and Professor Lupin in the Harry Potter series.

Connection of Deathly Hallows is also seen in the trailer and it’s expected that the Elder Wand, the Resurrection Stone and The Invisible Cloak is going to show up in this movie. Huge connections of Grindlewald with Voldemort is seen and all we have to do is watch the movie to figure it all out.

The first movie of Fantastic Beasts did involve lots of beautiful beasts so in the upcoming movie Fantastic Beasts:The Crimes of Grindelwald, there is definitely going to be new and more amazing creatures and not to forget our naughty and troublemaking Niffler.

Last and not the least professor Nicholas Flamel, creator of the Philosopher’s Stone is here. And the first person who held our hands in the first film and book of Harry Potter series.

In the previous film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Newt defeated Grindlewald and should have been the master of the Elder Wand. But it did not happen so it’s a bit suspicious or may be the movie has other plans.

No matter what we all have explored the magical world with Harry Potter and it’s time to explore and know its history. The hype is real and it’s going to smash the box office.
