DJ’S cricket league edition 2, the much awaited Cricket League of the city took place at The Spring Club today. The event witnessed eminent sports personalities like renowned Indian cricketer ManojTiwari and snooker player Sourav Kothari who alsoawarded the winning and the runners up team of the league.78 DJs of the city participated and there were six teams-Grids Blaster, RR Remotes Damagers, Chaibreak Smashers, Wow Momo Swingers, 10DS Riders, Snewz Warriors.
Speaking on this Occasion, curator of the event,DjAkashRohira said,“I dreamt about this league in 2017 which did come true with our First edition last year and we are ready with 2018 Edition. This was not and will never be possible alone, it’s a team effort and we are also looking forward to many more editions of DCL”.
DJs Cricket league, is a Cricket League, but with a Difference, where we see the Djs, spinning out their talent but with Different Gears. It all Started in 2017 when the Proprietor of M/s A.R.Deejays , Mr.AkashRohira dreamt of the biggest DJ Line up under one roof, which did come true, but the gears were different.The first years saw 72 DJs coming together under one roof and were divided in 6 teams namely Smashers headed by Mr. Vicky Metharamani, Swingers headed by Mr. Sanjay Dutta, Warriors headed by MrAkashRohira, Damagers headed by Mr. Vishal Sinha, Blasters Headed by Mr.Kunal Bose and Riders headed by Mr. Harish Lakhmani.
DCL has been partnered by Candid School of Communication and the efforts the kids put are commendable.
