Kolkata, 1st June, 2018: Association of Professional Academic Institutions, West Bengal (APAI) announced its three day pre- counseling Fair and Seminar at the Peerless Inn today. The conference was chaired by Professor Saikat Maitra, Vice Chancellor of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal, Shri Taranjit Singh, President of Association of Professional Academic Institutions, West Bengal and Shri Satyam Roy Chowdhury, Secretary of Association of Professional Academic Institutions.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Taranjit Singh, President of Association of Professional Academic Institutions, West Bengal said, “Our main objective is to provide the best platform possible for the students in the state to stop the brain-drain. Through APAI fair, we are presenting aspirants with top notch engineering and management programmes so that they find more reasons to be in the state. ”
The conference highlighted the steps taken by the Association of Professional Academic Institutions, West Bengal (APAI) to bridge the gap that exists between the academic institutions and the industry. It also touched upon the aim of the council to motivate and guide students to remain in West Bengal and pursue their higher course of education.
The largest education exhibit of the state, now in its 14th year will mirror the scope of engineering and technical education by holding various pre- counselling sessions and workshops for aspirants with the top Colleges and Universities of West Bengal. APAI aims to provide education with the touch of innovation that would create leaders of the nation. The exposition is supported by the Higher Education Department, the Government of West Bengal, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal and West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) and will see participation from more than 80 colleges.
The APAI Fair will commence from 5th June and will go on till 7th June at the Netaji Indoor Stadium.
