Kolkata: The brand Rupa, which rolled out in 1968 celebrated it’s 50 glorious years in the industry with the IPL team of Sunrisers Hyderabad in a plush hotel in Kolkata recently.
The players of the franchise, captain Kane Williamson, ace cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan, Shikhar Dhawan, Yusuf Pathan and Sakib Al Hasan were present during the occasion. Along with them P.R Agarwala, Chairman, G.P Agarwala, Vice Chairman, K.B Agarwala, Managing Director, Ramesh Agarwal, Director and Mukesh Agarwal of Rupa & Company Limited were also there.
The event witnessed a series of fun games and activities involving the players, followed by them giving out autographed balls to the audience and a photo session with the audience thereafter.
Speaking on the occassion, P.R Agarwala, Chairman of Rupa & Company Limited said, “We are very excited to be associated with the ever dynamic Sunrisers Hyderabad at the onset of Rupa’s 50 years of journey and we look forward to a long and fruitful association with the team.”
