Kolkata, December 8, 2017: The most awaited beauty pageant Sharad Sundari presented by Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers completed its seventh edition with the Grand Finale today. The finale of the beauty pageant saw the top twelve finalists, sizzling the ramp competing to win the crown with Showstopper Tollywood Diva Rituparna Sengupta. Model Ushoshi Sengupta, Elocutionist Bratati Bandyopadhyay, renowned Author and Entrepreneur Satyam Roy Chowdhury, Former Indian Cricketers Deep Dasgupta, Celebrated Fitness Trainer Ranadeep Moitra, Fashion Designer Debarun Mukherjee, renowned Makeup Artist Aniruddha Chakladar and renowned Photographer Vivek Das along with Mrs. Arpita Saha from Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers were present as the eminent judges. The gleeful evening also witnessed a special performance by renowned singer Suha Khan and the presence of Jaynata Ghosh, Ricky Chandraand Nilanjan Saha. Mr. Rupak Saha, Director, Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers was also present to address the media.
The beauties were all set to win over the title to be ‘Sharad Sundari 2017’. The finalists had to face three rounds of the Grand Finale. The entire fashion parade was a mixed bag of various look like Indian and Western. The final round was a question-answer round where the distinct verbal skill of the contestant was judged. Besides the main pageant award there were awards for four other special categories namely ‘Sahard Sundari’ Fit and Fine, ‘Sharad Sundari’ Confidence, ‘Sharad Sundari’ Miss Tripura and ‘Sharad Sundari’ Photogenic. The top 12 finalists vying the crown were Sagarika Chakraborty, Srimoyee Roy, Debjani Kar, Anuska Samanta, Payel Sarkar, Dibyasha Das, Madhumita Soren, Manisha Sen, Aradhana Chatterjee, Moumita Sarkar, Sneha Saha and Sneha Bose.
