The Cast & Crew of upcoming Bengali movie – “MESSI” recently visited the Department of Media Science at Pailan College of Management & Technology to interact with Students and Faculty Members. Gracing the occassion was the Director of the film – Arnab “Riingo” Banerjee, debutant Nigel Anthony, veteran actors Rana Mitra and Sumit Samaddar.
The members of the cast & crew of “Messi” spent time on the college campus addressing the students on nuances of filmmaking and shared their experiences from the making of the film. Talking about his upcoming film “Messi” Riingo said that “the film was truly a reflection of the indomitable spirit of the Bengali folk and their love for Football”.
“We have had our share of injuries and accidents while filming this film, and one of our lead actors Ranodeep Bose is still recuperating from his accident and that is why we have launched our ‘Pray for Rono’ signature campaign” added the director.
“We are glad to have had the chance to host such a warm film crew and we support their signature campaign. As aspiring professionals, our students have gained a lot from the interactive session with Mr. Riingo, Mr. Rana Mitra and Mr. Sumit Sammaddar.” said Annesh Bilas Thakur, Assistant Professor of Media Science Department.
The students had some interesting questions to ask the cast & crew of the film and participated in a Football Quiz as well with them.
