August 20, 2016, Kolkata: Eastern India’s first one-of-a-kind music city “Meridian Aamar Bari” was launched at Baruipur, Kolkata. The event was held at the Meridian Aamar Bari site location. Brand ambassadors of the project Nusrat Jahan, Lopamudra Mitra, Srijato & Joy Sarkar were also present along with some other popular musicians of the city.
“The project is an innovative music themed residential complex near the GMIT college, Baruipur that would comprise of approximately 51 blocks along with a music recording studio, open concert area and music training opportunities”, said Anil Gadia, one of the directors at Meridian Group.
To add to the music factor of the project, a theme song was composed by music director Joy Sarkar which was also performed during the event by Lopamudra Mitra & Joy Sarkar.
Bengali film actress Nusrat Jahan, who is one of the brand ambassadors of Meridian Aamar Bari, also participated in the event presenting her views on the project. A small book of Srijato’s poetry on the essence of Aamar Bari was published. Srijato recited the poetry from the same book, that has been named ‘Mood Book’.
Meridian Aamar Bari’s television commercial directed by Riingo Banerjee was also launched officially and was streamed in front of the artists and audience on a big screen.
