Buggy-Rides-at-Botanical-GardenA visit to the Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Indian Botanic Gardens just got a lot more pleasant. The sylvan getaway in the twin city of Howrah along the bank of Hooghly just got an eco-friendly aid. MacNeill Engineering Ltd. will run battery operated buggies that will ferry passengers within the garden. There are six-seater and four-seater buggies that will ply passengers from the main gate to the great banyan and back. The round trip would have a pocket pinch of Rs 40 to Rs 60 depending on the category. With the hot summer approaching the rides would indeed be a cool way to get a view of the luxurious botanical gardens.
