Gionee Mobiles today announced their unique initiative “Shrestho Shardo Sanman 2015” in presence of Tanusree Chakrabarty, Debshankar Halder, Mamata Shankar & Tanmay Bose.
“Durga Puja is a festival of Art, craft, colours, light and in a nut shell Bengal’s creativity at its opulent best. Our Craftsmen from various fields get an opportunity to highlight their talent and Bengal, especially Kolkata is dressed in creative excellence” said Suman Dasgupta, Operations Director and COO, Gionee Mobiles.
“Durga Puja is widely regarded as the biggest and most colourful Carnival of Asia and is known the world over. Gionee salutes the talent showcased during the Durga Puja week and today we are pleased to have announced a platform for the recognition of the various kinds of creative talent showcased in the pujas” he added.
The preliminary rounds of the competition will be judged by an internal team with experts from the field of Art & Culture while the finals will be judged by celebrities like Tanusree Chakrabarty, Debshankar Halder, Mamata Shankar & Tanmay Bose, among others.

There will be 4 drop boxes in the four Gionee Stores at Behala Sakherbazar, Bangur, Shyambazar and City Center 2 on the first Floor. All of our stores are operational from 10:30 am till 8:30 pm every day of the week. We have set the ball rolling already and the response has been quite strong” said Suman Dasgupta, Operations Director and COO, Gionee Mobiles.
The three categories under the “Shrestho Sharod Sanman” have been identified as the following: Shreshto Pratima, Shreshto Pandal Decoration and Shreshto Lighting.
