Two members of a film crew working on Tom Cruise’s latest movie, “Mena,” died after their small plane crashed late Friday in a mountainous area near the city of Medellin. One person was injured, Colombia’s civil aviation authority said. The film, directed by Doug Liman, is about a pilot who worked for renowned Medellin drug lord Pablo Escobar. The pilot is to be played by Cruise in the film.
