‘The Family Man S2’trailer : Manoj Bajpayee experiences FOMO

-

‘The Family Man 2’, the trailer is finally here after the long delay. Manoj Bajpayee returns with his role as Srikant Tiwari in the new season but this time he has had a job change and he is visiting a relationship counselor along with his wife to save his marriage. The first few moments of the trailer are all about Srikant trying his best to be the family man, till he experiences the fear of missing out. Before he changed his job, Srikant was an intelligence officer of the National Intelligence Agency, just as we saw him in the first season. A phone call with his former colleague reminds him of the action he is missing out on and soon, we see him dealing with a case of terrorism in Chennai.

The Family Man 2 marks the digital debut of south actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who plays the role of a terrorist named Raji. She has plans of destroying Chennai, chalked out by terrorist outfit ISI and rebel leaders. Raji has only one motto: “I will kill them all” and she is up against Srikant Tiwari.

“Watch the trailer of The Family Man 2 here. Hope you like,” wrote Samantha Ruth Prabhu while sharing the trailer.

The Family Man series is created and directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. While actors such as Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, and Shreya Dhanwanthary will reprise their roles from the first season, the show has new additions to the cast such as Ravindra Vijay, Shahab Ali, Devadarshini Chetan, Anandsami, Vedant Sinha, and Mime Gopi.

‘The Family Man 2’ was earlier supposed to release in February but was postponed due to the pandemic. The shooting of the second season ended in March. ‘The Family Man 2’ will premiere on Amazon Prime on June 4.
