The culture of Kolkata concerns the music, art, museums, festivals, and lifestyle within Kolkata, the current capital of the Indian state of West Bengal, and infrequently called the “Cultural Capital of India”. Bengalis tend to possess a special appreciation for art and literature. Recognizing these eminent personalities who made their way to make the state proud with their achievements in their respective fields is strictly why Mr. Deep Chakraborty of Nucleous Publication brought out the “Garber Bangali 2021”, a gift which honors eminent Bengali Personalities.
A number of great Bengali achievers would be felicitated during this occasion. The BCCI President and former cricket skipper Sourav Ganguly, singers Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty, Nachiketa, Aarati Mukherjee, Shaan, Anweshaa Duttagupta, directors Gautam Ghosh, Kaushik Ganguly, author Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay, painter Subrata Choudhury, Lyricist Srijato, and dance Dona Ganguly are going to be awarded for his or her significant contribution to society by Mr. Deep Chakraborty who is additionally the editor of Bengali magazine ‘Dana’.
On 15th April, which is that the first day of the Bengali calendar, ’Poila Boishakh’. The main event of Garber Bangali 2021 is going to be held at ITC Royal Bengal, Kolkata.
On 3rd April, a news conference to announce the event was organized at ITC Royal Bengal, Kolkata, where personalities like Koyel Mullick, Kharaj Mukherjee, singers Nachiketa, and Anweshaa Dattagupta, and Deep Chakraborty was present.2021 marks the milestone of 15 years of Dana, a monthly Bengali Journal, which is being published from Kolkata for the last several years. The special Boisaikhi issue is going to be published as well.
Deep Chakraborty promised that more ‘Garber Bangali’ Awards are going to be organized within the coming years as well, where relevant Bengalis from all fields would be felicitated too.
