The 93rd Academy Awards are almost around the corner. The final nominations under each category were announced yesterday by Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas via a global live stream in a two-part live presentation. While Priyanka Chopra’s, ‘The White Tiger’ earned a nomination under the ‘Best Adapted Screenplay’ category, like every other year, there are a few firsts this year, for the first time in the history of Oscars two women have been nominated under the ‘Best Director category. Chloé Zhao and Emerald Fennell for ‘Nomadland’ and ‘Promising Young Woman’ respectively.
