Kolkata’s biggest retail trade fair was organized from 23rd December, 2020 to 3rd of January, 2021. The International Mega Trade Fair is a leading fair in India in terms of quality and business. The USP is mainly the unique innovative ideas in lifestyle, handicrafts, handlooms, electronics, interiors, international products, food, automobile, education, tourism etc.
The event is organized every year at different venues of Kolkata this year it organized at Science City, Kolkata, India. Visitors include industry experts, professionals, distributors, wholesalers, dealers etc. Various kinds of stalls gets flooded with people every year to buy their essential commodities.
Unlike every year, this year due to the pandemic extra precautions were taken by the organizers of the trade fair. From Thermal Checking to providing mask on the entry gate all sorts of precautionary measures were taken and all the safety protocols for covid-19 was maintained strictly. Even automated sanitization machines was installed at the entry check point.
The main highlights of the fair this year were the Afghanistan Stall, the International stall etc. Other stalls like fitness, International stalls were also set up. There were quite a number of food stalls for the visitors maintaining proper hygiene.
With the vaccine finally getting roll out in the market within the next few weeks we can surely hope for normalcy to return back and enjoy International Mega Trade Fair again when it returns.
