Joy Sarkar, Sreejato and Shusmita Anis have come up with an Indo-Bangladesh pujo song this festive season!
The song ‘Hoyto Ba’ is rendered by famous singer of Bangladesh Shusmita Anis, the niece of the legendary singer Firoza Begum was released to mark the occasion of Durga pujo. The song has been composed by Joy Sarkar and lyrics penned by Sreejato Bandyopadhyay. It’s the only pujo song which released digitally featuring artists from both the nations of India and Bangladesh.
Durga Pujo is observed in both nations and to make the song a visual treat too, the shooting of the song took place in Kolkata. Having been shot at the porch of an elite house, it’s stairs, the pet pigeons in the cage, the tune of Tanpura-sitar all offered the video an elegant ambience. Its available on social media platforms.
Shusmita Anis said, “It’s a Bengali original song with a different taste. It’s a song to be alone with yourself. I hope all like it.“
