Just as the teaser poster was revealed, we bring to you a glimpse of it from the latest bylanes of Bollywood!
Inspired from a true story, this film is about Bengal’s endearing love for football with Maidan holding a nostalgic place in the heart of every Bengali.
Ajay Devgn was in Kolkata recently where he shot for the film and even met the legends of Indian Football – Shri P. K. Banerjee and Shri Chuni Goswami. The film is based on a forgotten chapter from Indian Football history and is Produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta.
Maidaan is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, with screenplay and dialogues written by Saiwyn Quadras and Ritesh Shah respectively.
The film is set to release on 27th November, 2020.
