Damini circles around a woman who is set to be working for the Kolkata Police Force.
Damini Sinha, played by Rituparna Sengupta is a tough cop who is considered to belong to the class of Kiran Bedi who is not just known for her toughness, but also admired for her beauty and her street smart attitude. An avid lover of adventure, she scores high in the racing circuits where she participates each year on her motor bike.
In short, Damini is a woman of sorts.
When couple is found dead in an apartment in Central Kolkata, Damini chooses to head the case because there are trails left as clues which somehow relates to her past and her present status as a police officer. An autistic child is found at the murder scene, who perhaps holds the key to the victim’s death. Damini begins to investigate and is soon caught in a web of conspiracy and deceit.
Betrayals from her trusted ones and fast running out of options to escape, Damini realizes that this time she chose more to chew than she can swallow.
Now with an autistic child to protect and a conspiracy that runs too deep to uncover, Damini is on a ticking time bomb to save the city from perhaps, the greatest disaster in the history of Kolkata.Can Damini win?
