Kolkata, October 9, 2017: SPML Infra Limited received the Construction Times Award 2017 for Integrated Management Information System (IMIS) under the category of Best Executed Technology used for Water Management Project. The award, given during a ceremony held in Mumbai recently, was presented by Mr. Shyam Raj Prasad, GST and Excise Commissioner of Mumbai in the presence of Professor M. N. Sreehari, Advisor to Government of Karnataka for Traffic, Transportation &Infrastructure. The jury members comprising of eminent people had selected the winners from over two hundred nominations.

 SPML has ingenuously developed Integrated Management Information System (IMIS), designed as per Indian conditions for smart management of water utilities. It is highly scalable and capable of handling the Metering, Billing, CRM, Network Analysis, Demand Forecasting & Management, Asset and Inventory Management, HR and Finance Management, Business Intelligence, and Operation & Maintenance of the entire network. After implementing this system, the water loss has been considerably reduced and revenue increased significantly with better consumer services in water utilities in Delhi and Karnataka.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Subhash Sethi, Chairman, SPML Infra said “We are excited to receive this award for our in-house developed integrated management information system for efficient water supply and distribution management in India. Our IT team has done a tremendous job in the development and successful implementation of this system in water utilities with measurable results. Going forward with the Smart and AMRUT Cities development, the IMIS will be immensely helpful for water utilities to reduce water losses (Non-revenue water), improve consumer services, keeping track of all assets and increase revenue .We are confident that this system will receive greater acceptance by the municipalities and other water utility bodies to make their system technology enabled and efficient.
