The much awaited film Bhoomi starring, Sanjay Dutt, Aditi Rao Hydari, directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Bhushan Kumar Krishan Kumar, Sandeep Singh, is ready to hit the screens on September 22nd, 2017.
The released posters and trailer depict some intense and menacing disposition of Sanjay Dutt. After a hiatus, he is back and how! We are sure that his ferocious look is once again going to be appreciated by the audience with his comeback film.
The trailer sees Sanjay Dutt playing the role of a father trying to protect his daughter against molesters. However, the recent poster highlights Dutt as both a conceited character as well as a roaring menace which apparently reveals the tale of revenge. After so much of speculations, the audiences can expect Bhoomi to be a revenge-drama in addition to layers of emotions and sensitiveness that explores the true relationship between the father and his daughter.
Aditi Rao Hydari (Bhoomi) essays the daughter of Sanjay Dutt (Arun) and Sharad Kelkar (Dhauli) plays the antagonist in the film while a new face – Siddhant Gupta joins the crew in the role of Aditi’s lover (Neeraj). This is going to be Omung Kumar’s third film after Award winning films like ‘Mary Kom’ (2014) and ‘Sarabjit’(2016).
