Jackson Records released Tandra Chakraborty’s new Bengali poetry album ‘Ek Juger Srot’ on 17th August, 2016 (Wednesday) during the 2nd Annual Cultural Conference of Jackson Records’ regional label Eastern Artists Alliance at Jibanananda Sabhaghar, Kolkata.
Present in the event were – the performers of Eastern Artists Alliance along with Utsav Bhanja (founder/ managing partner), Jackson Records and Ranjana Bhanja (creative director, Jackson Records).
The album comprises of twenty one poems performed by Tandra Chakraborty. The collection is a mix of popular poetry by legendary poets like Kavi Guru Rabindranath Tagore, Sunil Ganguly, Premendra Mitra & others, along with modern poems penned by new generation poets like Soumitro Ray & others.
Jackson Records has also released a video of the poem ‘Amra Dujon Ekti Gaye Thaki’ from the album, featuring the performer Tandra Chakraborty, prior to the release of the album. Another video will soon be available online on YouTube, under the Jackson Records Live Studio series.
