NIFI Kolkata advocates for Peace and Harmony

National Integration Forum of India launches newsletter and felicitates "Ambassadors of Peace"

National Integration Forum of India (NIFI), a social body which is formed by young professionals of Kolkata to spread peace and harmony in the society thereby promotes national integration in the entire country.

Recently at ICCR Kolkata, during the release of the newsletter “Nation first” some more eminent citizens like Ex-Sheriff of Calcutta Sri Utpal Chatterjee, Eminent senior lawyer Sri Milan Mukherjee, President of Calcutta Club Sri Tamal Mukherjee, Musician Sri Bickram Ghosh, Singer Indrani Sen, Social Worker Smt. Maria Farnandes, Popular Media Personality Smt. Paromita Ghosh, Legendary Tennis player Sri Akthar Ali, Musician Sri Soumitra Ray, National Cricket Selector Sri Venkat Raja, Rajyasabha MP Sri Vivek Gupta joined the movement.

Sri John Andrew Bagul Principa South City international School and young lawyer Sri Salim Rahman were awarded with “Ambassador of Peace” for their contributions to promote national values.

This organization had been formed in August 2017 and in the last few months huge number of people including eminent citizens like Sri Chuni Goswami, Sri Gurbux Singh, Sri Shirshendu Mukhapadhyay, Sri Imran Zaki, Eminent lawyer Sri Paritosh Sinha, Grand Master Dibyendu Barua, among others have come forward to join and support this movement.

The forum is trying to spread peace and harmony by digital campaigns in social media, organize interactive sessions with students in schools, join hands with local clubs and organizations to conduct small meaningful events to bring people of all communities closer to each other.
