Are You In The List 2015: People Matters Crowns India’s Emerging HR Leaders

India’s next HR leaders are here. People Matters in association with DDI crowned this year’s emerging HR leaders who are going to be the change-agents in the fraternity in future. ‘Are You In The List 2015’ saw some of the best of the young HR minds battling it out in an intense qualifying application process with a series of assessments by the DDI, to finally emerge as winners. In their 4th year running, 7,500 young HR managers across the country have participated in this award process since its inception.

Ester Martinez, the Editor-in-Chief of People Matters said, “This evening is an evening of appreciation, recognition and celebration to the future of HR – represented today our award winners, our Are you in the List alumni, our jury members, our partners and all of you senior leaders in the HR community and influencers of the direction and impact that this function has in today’s business context. The Keynote speaker, Bhaskar Pramanik, Chairman of Microsoft Corporation (India), said, “About forty years ago, people were not even considered to be an asset by organizations. They were clubbed with capital and machinery and it was referred to as Industrial Revolution. But things are definitely changing right now. People consideration is certainly on the rise.”

Are You In The List Award is a platform for HR managers in the age group of 26-35 years, with minimum work experience of 3 years in the capacity of HR. The 8-month long process of selection saw about 2,200 applications from India across HR verticals. The 11-member Jury had a tough time in selecting the best from the crème de la crème.
