According to a medical report in the murder case in which Indrani Mukherjea is the main accused, Sheena Bora (daughter of the accused) died due to asphyxia as a result of strangulation.
The report was prepared by a medical board constituting 5 people at AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) based in New Delhi.
The report also stated that the examined human skeleton was of a female of about 23 years of age and was put to death about 3 years ago. This information matches with Sheena Bora, who was 24 years old at the time of murder back in April 2012.

Indrani, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and her ex-driver Shyamvar Rai were involved in the murder of Sheena. Chargesheet was filed against all of the 3 persons mentioned above.
Peter Mukherjea, present husband of Indrani Mukherjea, was arrested last week for his alleged role in the murder that took place 3 years back.
